Can't wait to see y'all there. Hope you can escape... someday. To somewhere better. I hear Siberia is nice this time of year! (hope that helps!!)
I never lived in Orange County. I had friends from there once. Just once.
You could tell. Really.
Small story:
I bought my Mutatable Motor Home (MMH) Brunhilde from this couple in Brea. Yeah, like the tar pit. Or was it Screwba Linda? I dunno. Somewhere... there.
They said it was perfect, ready to take anywhere. Being from OC, I should have just fracking known better, but I took the bait. 'little pricey... but hey, itwas in perfect shape, right? Paint was awfully pretty...
Of course. it wasn't. Blown motor, trans, leaks, headaches, wandered all over the fracking place, shit don't work... tho it has 2 stereos and new paint over rust. Yeah, you can tell, OC special.
$7k later, I almost trust it to get me to BRC and back. Still needs a boatload of work.
OC. Leave it or leave it.

Okay Bob - if you're still here when I finally make it over the wall, do me a favor. There's this big hayfield up near Riverside. One in particular. Got a long rock wall with a big oak at the north end. Like something out of a Robert Frost poem. Promise me, Bob, if you ever get out, find that spot. In the base of that wall you'll find a rock that has no earthly businesss in a Riverside hayfield. A piece of black volcanic glass. You'll find something buried under it I want you to have.bluesbob wrote:I have no immediate plans to escape Orange Co. I figure someone has to remain here and send reports back to the real world. I have a pretty good disguise.
