you, (being the personna you are) may want to set parameters on what is termed "gin" and "food"..........C.f.M. wrote:Does anybody need their gin drank or their fresh food eaten? I could maybe help with that.
I have a lot of belligerence and a very small amount of patience to offer, too.
just sayin'.............chuckling, of course my mind turned left almost immediately.

Seriously, though, I think I will have some space, if I can whip up a little something for anybody...I'm already packing a bit of sewing stuff, for a sparkle pony make-over, a beauty queen sash...just little things, that maybe you want to gift somebody.
Yesyes, I said "whip something," grow up, you dirty minds!

I still have plenty. I've got a bunch set aside for a couple of people that are going to pick them up on playa.ygmir wrote:bounce 530:

and, thought I'd bump, in case others need or have stuff.
How many would you like? I'll be sure to tag some for you as well.
What other people think about you is none of your business.

It was for that reason Ygmir why I was thinking of offering a swap, spanking for belligerence LOLygmir wrote:never, "non grata"..................C.f.M. wrote:You forgot the "non grata."ygmir wrote: you, (being the personna you are) ]

I need a whistle valve......like for a steam whistle, or a Po$%8r (haha no money for you, OED).
pull type quick on/off spring loaded to close. 3/4" or larger.
and I have tons of left over heart redwood 2x6 blocks, up to about a foot long.
Not for kindling, I hope, But for a better use.
Also heart redwood sawdust and shavings (planer).
if anyone can use. free, of course.
edit to clarify that the stuff I have is to give away.

I don't think so. good idea, though.unjonharley wrote:Would a water heater blow off valve work..ygmir wrote:I suppose.....probably the same beast.
spring loaded to off. rapid full on, full off action.
full flow.
able to work at operating pressures above 100 psi.
It works on overpressure, and usually about 75 lbs. (IIRC) to open.
the whistle valve, is held shut by the pressure (gas and spring), and, you move it against said pressure to open.

I have yards & yards of ribbon, metallic jacquard, different colors, 1"-2", happy to send swatches so you can see if you like it.

How much better of a use does it need to be?ygmir wrote: and I have tons of left over heart redwood 2x6 blocks, up to about a foot long.

well, IMHO, since heart redwood is very rot resistant, it can be used for things the include ground contact, wetness and the like, without rotting.MyDearFriend wrote:I have yards & yards of ribbon, metallic jacquard, different colors, 1"-2", happy to send swatches so you can see if you like it.

There are times this is quite handy.
It's also very insect repellant.
and, to just cut it up for firewood, seems not so much it's "highest, best use". Not that anyone is required to do anything, just sayin' it'd be nice for it to do what it does best.

Gas money and a camp cooking stove!
But garage sale season is one it's way, fairly confident we'll find a used one for cheap.
We'll just have to tighten our belts to save for the gas. Kinda sucks knowing we'll be spending twice as much as last time we went!

6" long would probably do, but, 8" would be better.
