I agree with AntiM. Some theme camps are works of art in themselves.

There is so much to see and do. Leave your schedule open to explore. My first year (06), I did nothing but explore and still probably only experienced 1/4 of the city.

Also agree that the best gift you can give is yourself. My first year, my first day, I was walking out to the Man. A guy walked up to me, handed me a bracelet and said "I would like you to have this". He then just smiled and walked away. The bracelet had no monetary value but the gift was priceless. Simple, but I will never forget it. I was sure at that moment that I would be returning.

As others may have stated, BRC is a community and there are many opportunities to lend a hand, especially when the wind blows!! I always keep my toolbelt, rope, and extra rebar handy.
