I used to buy coolers every year as luggage for flying to Fiji. I packed a soft side suitcase inside for my return. Airlines used to allow two as regular checked luggage. They were prohibitively expensive to buy there since ocean cargo was priced by volume. Many friends did not have electricity or refrigeration, so a nice big "Eskie" (igloo=eskimo) was a great gift. There was a big ice maker in town for the fisheries office, so a cooler was a reasonable option for refrigeration. The best consumer grade cooler we ever used out sailing was made by Gott... don't see them anymore though.gyre wrote:I use old ones as storage boxes.unjonharley wrote: I'll ask half price.. Might be the one I used to have.
They want $100.
My guess is they would take less.

Sure.
No telling how little they might sell that for though.
This is a very depressed area.
Many people doing well, just want to get rid of stuff quickly.
Other people have no money to spend, so often low prices on things.
I was looking for a topper and I'm still looking for the work style I need, like everyone apparently.
I was trying to get information from someone with one, and when I finally got in touch, he was so tired of trying to sell it, with everyone like me looking for the other style, he said I could have it if I picked it up quickly.
100 mile drive, but it works for rain cover.
Nice top, but brutally heavy.
CL is very weird.
