And then they were four.Picked up a rider from Steamboat Springs.Any tips on the best way there from 70 and back to 80 avoiding as much climbing as possible? Illy?You're better than AAA!

Honestly, no there is not. Either way you are going to have to climb a pass.
Either you go up to Eisenhower tunnel, then at the bottom of the very steep hill you get off at the Silverthorn exit and head north up a really big hill. HW-09 to HW-40

Or you get off I-70 at Empire, then climb Berthoud pass, and take HW-40 forever.

I'll start looking in a route from the north

illy dilly - Transformus is aptly named and truly was a transforming experience for me. It is set in one of the most beautiful areas I have ever been in up in the Appalachian mountains. I camped with the PLF and made many new friends. I had a blast and am now totally hooked on attending more regionals! If you get a chance next year to get down to North Carolina I highly recommend you attend.
