Pickled Egg. It was something of a religious experience.
At the first decompression I attended, I received an amazing hand-made Man necklace. I've worn it every Burn since. It's one of my favorite necklaces... It's not gaudy or huge, and can be worn with basically anything.
Food of any kind is amazing out there. I've heard the permitting requirements really killed the number of kitchens out there... but I've still run across some rogues skirting the law. Last year, a guy walked into my camp, introduced himself, got my name, and said that since we were now friends, he had ice cream in his camp to share. This year, there was a guy on my block who would play loud "Ice Cream Man music" and serve frozen vanilla cones out of his RV. Permits be damned!
