I was peripherally involved with a mobile pizza kitchen. The year was 2011, the year of the Trojan Horse. A horse was pulling a chariot, the chariot was the mobile serving station, the horse was, well, a horse with a pizza oven built into the ass end. It was very cool. As the horse was trudging along by battery power (a small electric motor was in there somewhere) it needed to be inspected and sticker as a Mutant Vehicle. As the food was being prepared for distribution to people outside of campmates, and the number of people served. Also, Dairy was involved so it was a issue. I didn't help build it but.. I did zip tie some crap on it! I ate the pizza!

Indeed, you need to go through the Nevada Public Health Department to be inspected. It isn't hard. Here is the link:

I can also confirm that if it is pulled by people or bicycle it does not need to be stickered. I am pretty sure the Trojan Horse that year did not have a mutant vehicle sticker but it had a LOT of slaves pulling it:

I do a fair amount of international travel providing volunteer health care and can say, in my opinion, the recommendations they make and requirements they set forth are common sense and appropriate. You don't want to make a bunch of burners come down with diarrhea and have to spend more time in the port-o-potties than necessary!

The photos are of the Horse and Pizza, and the team that came from Nevada State Health Department for the inspection.

Good Luck, meat always welcome!
