Thank you Simon

a whole life in that one post. I'm thinking of the story, "The Illustrated Man," by Ray Bradbury. You can sucked into the blank space.

Re: your heart on my sleeve.
one week to go for entries.
don't be shy, send them in.
again, eplayans only, and a brief description story, essay, poem, picture.....whatever.....just tell me why.
here's another winner, because our animal friends know us better than we know ourselves.

This is Creeper....So named for the Virginia Creeper Trail where he was found as a sickly kitten as I hiked from Georgia towards Maine. Once I had him the hiking was over. I hitchhiked back to NJ with a kitten in my arms. I slept on my parents' lawn so not to wake them. A good Jewish girl who had gotten rides with truckers and hippies and rednecks.
That was 16 years ago. Creeper was my first real pet. He came to me when I was an adult in numbers only and now he'll leave me soon. He's wasted away and clearly uncomfortable. I've made the decision to put him down before the burn this year. We're driving west and three weeks is a long time. I think I owe it to him to be there at the end.
I'm not sure how I'll mourn him. I'm not a fan of the temple. I bailed, left the city altogether, after the temple burn my first year. The structures are interesting, but it's not a place for me.
A tattoo seems more appropriate for a Virgina wildcat.

thanks to all who told me their stories about their loves. and in a nice twist, one space in between is blank, as requested.
each name is a trigger, that shoots the memory gun...

Simon I do think you were in nyc near to where I was struggling to figure things out as a kid
doing everything wrong but winning books for ps6
brc is the only time when something melts us together
and maybe I can stop because at baker I thought we were just hanging out
when it became an internal government
I added the words "should"
But I do still have resilience
and love you

Thank you, Simon. I imagine this gift means a lot to a lot of people.
When he lights his streetlamp, it is as if he brought one more star to life, or one flower.
When he puts out his lamp, he sends the flower, or the star, to sleep.
That is a beautiful occupation.

That's one word I regret googling during breakfast.
.
Video games are giving kids unrealistic expectations on how many swords they can carry.

, but don't harm the red dragon that frequents the area from time to time. He and I have an agreement.

Thank you Simon. Her picture may have buned in the temple last night, but her spirit lives on so strongly, and I appreciate so much that one of the ways of publicly stating that is on your arm. Jennifer of the Universe via Simon of the Playa. Thanks and a great big virtual dusty hug for you.
