We ran power 24/7 anyway because we had a pair of big freezers.

I brought extra sheets of plywood so I could construct and gift a baffle to any neighbor who fired up one of those lawnmower-engine noise factories, but fortunately there was only the hum of little Hondas all around. If you want absolute silence, wrong party.

Add an air compressor and blow-gun to your playa gear, which does a fantastic job of clearing the dust off of and out of stuff, and you are set for Total Dust Control!

Yeah, and if you do a baffle box, don't point the open end at neighboring camps. Jesus christ, we had the loudest fucking generator I've ever heard across the street from us. People were coming from the other side of our camp and complaining about "our" generator. Nope not ours, it was those guys. :)
