As long as you're having fun, you are doing it right.

Just finished my 'flaming snow mountain'. It's really bad but somehow I still love it.

I love it, it has a lot of energy!

You are a kind person. This abomination in acrylics makes me cringe and laugh. Art should affect you right? Right? I'll move on to my next project. Decoupage. At least that way it comes out recognizable.

Hushville has been placed at Effigare and 5:15. Placement within the village TBD, but the front corner is a good bet.

Re: Anti M's Home for Wayward Art 2016 5:15&E
We were putting up art one morning, and the Flaming Mountains was up as an anchor piece*. I was around back, picking more art, when I stepped out, and it had only been a minute, the piece was gone. No card. The Home was still closed up, someone must have liked it enough to step over the ropes and take it with them. A bit disappointing, I wanted to read the card.
*Each morning, I refill the gallery. There are three center sections and two wings, and two easels. First I pick the two large easel pieces. Next are five "anchor" pieces, larger art chosen thematically or by color scheme. Then smaller art is chosen to accompany or complement the anchors. If someone snags an anchor before I am done curating, it throws me off. That's why I ask people to not adopt until I am ready for the day, part of my joy is getting it just right.

Ha ha. I bet you thought it was me. (I was sure that piece was headed for the body shop to have some dents put in).
So....Did you keep the cape or gift it? I know the other pieces were just fluff but for some reason I thought the cape was special. I had matching pants somewhere but never found them.

Definitely kept the cape; I have an outfit is matches nicely. The pants likely would not have fit me, the lower landscape is undergoing changes anyway. Larry was wearing it around the house right after I cleaned it.
The bustle is sweet, although I'll change the tie. I have wide ribbon which will look fantastic with it. The purple fuzzy top is actually a bit bulky, Larry tried it on and it looked like a dress! So it will be hunting for just the right home.
