OE it is for you, space traveler.

Miss Elise, if you must go, then you must......*sniff*

Hey puss, I found your "in a family way" comment to be so quaint and southern gentlemanly, I do declare!

I got a 24 pack of prismacolor premier pencils in a metal box with a "bonus art stix' (blue) for $24. So, yeah a buck a piece.

Well... my mother would hit me in the nose if I didn't act like a nice guy.

You'll love 'em. Keep us posted on the progress. Is this your first venture into that medium?

Hmm...the little insert says I should use the 'Prismacolor Art Pencil Sharpener' to produce a perfectly shaped point for my pencils. Do I really need this?

Good malt liquor...

Yeah. My last medium of any repute was glass. I can't afford to do that right now, so I thought that drawing would be a good inexpensive thing to do. I'm starting with some burning man memories.

I suspect marketing there. I use a little no-name-o one and it works fine.

I've messed with them on and off for a long time, but I always go back to the pencil/ink stuff.

I did glassblowing back in the late 80s and early 90s. Maybe 3 years or so.

An example of my work can be found on an earlier bar thread here

So what kind of paper do you like? I have a sketchbook that I picked up in Reno just on my way into burningman. Seems pretty cheap.

Regarding pencil sharpeners:
I like fresh razors set in brass.

Maybe five bucks at an art store
dunno about replacement blades
& Leave No Trace (LNT) as i generally
toss the whole lot into any waiting dog/large
gaping maw such as an alligator or panther
might provide.

Damn...they both beat me to it

(Begins to eye the hot tub)

I like a little heavier paper, sput. Something that is pretty smooth, but still has some texture to it. I’ve found that my favorite journal/sketch book is the “Mead Academie Sketch Diary”. Affordable and good for everyday use.

Nipples!!! Good to see you tonight.

I need a bit of relaxing, thanks! *steps slowly into hot tub, sits down*

I've got a tough decision to make....I took my truck to the dealer today to get it checked out and they say I need to replace the timing chain and might as well get a valve job at the same time. Should I do that or trade it in on a newer truck? That is a tough one.
