Did I hear someone mention Beer? >>giggles<<

Sorry I've been out for a while, but the boss has me working doubles and occasional triples, and i had to study for a hard as hell promo test that was worse than I thought...

(Isn't there a thread beginning with "F..." that I should be posting that on?)

Speaking of flogging, I need a new whip. 16 feet long dyed plum to match my outfit, OK?

How about some Sangria?
It's going to be alright.

Mmmm... Sangria sounds YUMMY!!! Just the thing to wake up to!!

Talked to the leather weaver, said he'll work on the plum but the oil tanned he has in stock is taking dye funny... he tried to do green for my bodice trim and laces and it turned out a funky pinkish gray, kinda like Victory Meat (think the cafeteria scene in Orwell's "1984" - Ugh!!)... but he'll work on it! How 'bout some bluish-orange??

Well, then I'll just have to dye my clothes to match. Perhaps this color would be easier.

why sure... a gifted drink is just one of the things i have a hard time saying 'no' to...

i'll have a gin, triple sec & lemonade, please.

and Joel - don't even tease like that!! One little gasket is NOT going to keep you from the playa. you have months to figure that one out. but here are lots of beers anyway.... *lines up pints of guiness three deep and 5 wide in front of Joel*

That sounds like a great drink Tisha. I'll have to make up two. One for you and one for me.

Gin (1 part)

Triple sec (1 part)

Lemonade (2 parts)
It's going to be alright.

Hey everybody! Just stopped in for a quick nip.

Z, how has your first two days back on the job been? Ready to go back to being unemployed?

Anyways, can't stay. Oh, LeChat said he should be back sometime next week. And I think that's it for the news of the day.

Quite happy where I am, thanks.

(Wanders back in, frazzled)

Man... What a Monday of a Tuesday. Maybe I should go back to Wednesday!

First, a double gin, triple sec & easy lemonade for Tish with a champagne chaser in congrats for the coulda been a bad thing thing being not so bad a thing! (Where *is* Thing, BTW??)

Next, half a dozen double Makers for Onrey Joel over the headgasket, that really sux, hon, but at least it's fixable. Could be worse - way worse. If you got a good wrench it's not that bad a fix, and won't sink the boat too terribly bad - at least not enough to keep you from Lake Blackrock this year... (Have you seen the pix? You could darn near sail the playa right now!)

Oh, a double Patron with a Guiness chaser for Sput, *love* the duds, tho I still wanna see you in pinstripes! (Yummy...)

And a round of Guinesses for Heli and Rian, and a Java with a double espresso dumpling for the angel, just 'cuz!!!

How could I possibly deny a guy in Turnouts?? Something about a man in Nomex... >>giggles<<

How about a double Makers Manhattan, red vermouth and an olive instead of a cherry? Hmmm... how about one of those jalepeno stuffed ones??

Hasta be slow when you need a darn rowboat to get to 3:30 and Mars... >giggles<
helitack wrote:I'll have anything with jalapenos. I like em spicy.
If it's not hot, it's not worth putting in your mouth... Um... Well... never mind...! >grins<

When we get to San Antonio (not as often as we used to) we get these jars of "Texas Caviar" which are these *huge* olives stuffed with Jalepenos...

Problem is, once I start eating them I can't stop... Best martini veggies to be had.

We found these Italian breakfast sausages at the meat market, sign said "spicy"... That's like a sign in the middle of Lake Tahoe that says "Caution, water may be present"... Actually they were pretty big (like mini-chorizo) and flat out awesome... basil and rosemary and 4 alarms all in one... Wow!! another all-time favorite - A friend also smuggles in bottles of "Mrs Renfro's Salsa" from Alberquerque when she visits, that has more kick than a backfire. I think it's a Jalepeno/Habanero mix... Paradiso!

Nice of you to think of me honey. I'll have the Gomez suit. Definately. The Zorro suit would be a challenge. I'd love to have something like it, but I'd have to make it, and I'm not that good with the machine.
It's going to be alright.

Might buy a '72 Chevrolet Step-Van tommororw.
Aluminium! Lost the Airstream last year to a tornado,
& will definatley be BRC bound in the fall.....

~signals barkeep for a Makers Mark~

My best freinf Jeff bought it two years ago from his cousin George,
whose father was original owner. Plus, I got Queequegs Coffins organ from
George (an installation in 2002), and they all have kept her going very well. Jeff & George dumped LOTS of money.. & all she needs now is an engine rebuild. $1,000 is pretty much kizmit yelling in my ear, eh!

Okay, guess you got it after all!

She wants the playa & i gotta go, too?

seems a good idea
