hi gang!
that Triken..........such a grasp on live. *impressed*
I found a cool double safe, for the "bones" of the Hofovens, and another for the plenum/diverter chamber.
Can't wait to start cutting and then putting it all back together, to bring a close to this project.

Mmm, good morning!
Thumps ECM
I'm wide awake early again. I think it is too quiet. Eight inches of snow out there, not a sound, I can hear my ears ringing and the cat snoring. Bright too, where the sky and the snow are the same color and you can see easily. Not too cold yet, 26, but it will be single digits later.

Thanks for the coffee, AntiM.
wow, snow and single digits.....must be that light snow you are all famous for. Where you can blow it away with a leaf blower instead of shoveling?
Have a nice day off, MDF. have some fun first, before "doing stuff".
HI ASD!
cold here, too. no weather, though.

Hey all,
Thanks for the breakfast Misa. And the coffee AntiM. I hope you're about over your cold. It sounds as if MyLarry's hand has healed enough for him to be driving again. Yay for that!
Enjoy the shiny new car Lucky!
It is turning warm here, in the 60°s, near record highs, and rainy throughout the weekend. Shaping up to be another very mid winter, although we had an inch or two of snow a few days ago.
A nice gift winebuff, to share TTITD with a friend and have them get excited about going. Good on ya!

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Good morning! Up and moving early today, already back from walking my gf to the train station and had a nice big mocha from the cafe and done a couple errands. I even managed to get a class at my local workshop place booked for next week. Later on I'll be off to haul stuff between storage spaces and attempt to get things a little more organized (seems like an exercise in futility at times). Enjoy your day off, MDF! Glad to hear you're doing better, AntiM. Congrats on bringing someone new into the fold, winebuff, that's always fun. I'm excited with how my camp's shaping up this year, this is the furthest I've ever been along this early in the season. You guys with your snow can keep all that nonsense to yourselves, SF is cold enough this morning as it is - I could almost see my breath for a second there!
Going to be quite the weekend, I think. Dinner out and then comedy with Mr. Izzard (great seats in a tiny venue) followed by drinks. Then tomorrow hopefully a farmer's market run, hanging out with some campmates, and then some kinda shindig at the crucible.
Now to kick back with a couple donuts…mmmmm…..

Still snowing here. We do have a snowblower, it is out back in the shed where I can't get at it. I don't know if I want to shovel, although it is powder out there. You just push it over to the side, no lifting needed. The skiing will be amazing, if anyone can get up the canyons....

Woo Hoo! Parker (playa name Cake) won something like 7k on Jeopardy last night and is coming back again tonight! One of the best moments was when he told Alex Trebec that he always wears one white sock and one black sock.......

thanks for the coffee. *makes CCCW*
dang, that sounds cold.
yeah, the train trip/party seems to be shaping up fun!
We're even going to try for a trip out to the playa on Sunday should be about 2 hours, maybe a little more ( depending on weather) each way.

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Morning everyone. Can I get a cup of coffee with a shot in it pls? Had to cut loose a husband of a friend of mine who wanted to go with us to BM because of all their drama and not having a "nice burner helping attitude". Hardest email I had to write but its done and I will move on. Cant do drama. Am I rambling? Now where is that shot? Did I say I was SO excited for Reno
Re: The Bar, Volume #4
Figjam just posted on the Amtrak thread, how about brunch at Brunos?

Re: The Bar, Volume #4
so, it's 12°C here today in Toronto Canada. (that's 56.3 Farenheights), seems non-winters here are becoming the new normal.
Instead of complaining, I might leave the house and enjoy it.
