I knew I had some decorations around here somewhere. The big ones just show up whenever I put up the word "happy." They can't see too well, or read too well, and they sound it out a little, and get all excited, and show up.

Summer seems to be here and so I took the first steps in making this year's swag yesterday. Will look at it tomorrow when the kiln cools down.

Hope all you guys in the country's midsection are spared the bad weather and storms Summer seems to be here with unseasonably warm weather and tons of pollen

Happy belated/timely/early birthdays and whatnot! Things have been crazy busy in other areas, so I've probably missed a whole bunch of fun. This week will probably be busy too, then on the weekend we have the fancy shmancy Maker Faire in the SF bay area. The last couple years we've tried cramming it all into one day and end up rushing around and feeling all beat up and worn out, so this year we're pacing ourselves with the weekend pass action. There will be WAY too many 3D printers, but still plenty of fun playa art (including El Pulpo Mecanico!), and some awesome CNC tool makers and other exciting magical things. And funnel cake! Anybody else in the bay area planning to go?

I'm also really excited that things are looking like they'll be lining up for us to go to Reno at the end of the month for a themed party at the Morris burner hotel joint. Hooray!

After participating in Maker Faire the last four years, I decided to take this year off to minimize the stress level for both my partners-in-crime and myself. Then the partners-in-crime decided to join in anyway! I will be there only -- alas -- as a spectator on Saturday. If you see a tall buxom lady in a brown leather steampunky outfit, I should be near by. (Depending on how many ladies fit that description. :lol: )
