Silas, I just wrote your name on a tag and tied it to a horn-less saddle. If I'm not in camp, anybody on duty can give it to you.

Hydrocele sounds uncomfortable indeed. I have "enough" discomfort with normal-size equipment being pinched in the crotch. Glad you got it taken care of.

Say... is that Pandora's Lounge & Fix-It Shoppe? There is an effort underway to create a sort'a directory of repair camps -- not to spread around, but so member camps can make sensible referrals when all else fails. PM me if interested.

Elliot, belated congratulations on the new placement! I'm finally checking in to eplaya to help a friend get ready for his first burn.
As expected I won't be at the burn this year (work & other obligations), but a group of my friends are going. I'm hoping at least one will go spend some time volunteering with you during the week (probably a tall fellow named Oli). I just found your indigogo campaign, unfortunately to late. Glad to see it went well.

Hope you have a great burn, and see you in future years.

No, that one is not mine, but I have met the gent, and I believe he also has used his in Kinetic Sculpture Racing -- which is what I built mine for.

I introduced this type tires to KSR in 2004, and they are now common in the sport, as well as occationally appearing at BM.

This one is mine:

Hey, yeah, send Oli over -- I'm sure we can use the help.
And I suppose there is no reason not to accept another donation, but it would have to be direct, and there are no serious Perks left.

Edit to add: I resize photos with Microsoft Office Picture Manager, which came with the computer. Very easy to use.

Yup; full of foam. Couldn't have stayed upright on water without them.
Trouble was... I couldn't stay upright on land, if the ground was the least bit uneven. So I converted it to a trike.

I'm setting up a piano lounge this year at my camp, Decadent Oasis, 7:30 / A.
Grand opening is Tuesday at 3am.

I can hardly believe it's almost time to hit the playa again! Yay! This year will be my 3rd Annual Taco Tuesday! I'd like to invite you all to come share a taco dinner and margies! I'm camping with Elliot's Bike Repair at 4:30 and G and it'll start at 7pm, just in time to howl at the sun going down.

The menu this year is a bit healthier than the last two years. We'll be having:

Chicken tacos with soft, lightly charred corn tortillas with Cheddar cheese, possibly Cotija cheese and lettuce
Seasoned Black beans
Cilantro and lime white rice

Condiments include:
Pico de Gallo (Homemade salsa)
Tomatillo salsa...yummy
Lime wedges
and some others, I have to figure which ones to have

I got a deal on Mezcal so I bought 2 bottles, so along with the margaritas, I'll have Mezcal shots! Bring a shot glass!

I hope to see you there!

With the exception of the chicken and cheese, everything else is vegan! So you can have a black bean taco with the rice!
