Yeah, Ricola, just keep them in a cool place in a baggie so they don't melt on your camera gear. Some people like Fisherman's Friends, but they're absolutely foul.

What's weird is the reports of white-outs and extreme wind conditions, compared with blackrockdesert.org's weather forecast:

"Overnight: A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 69. West wind around 5 mph.
Thursday: Areas of smoke after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 99. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Thursday Night: Areas of smoke before 9pm. Mostly clear, with a low around 65. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming northwest in the evening.
Friday: Isolated showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 99. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

If there's good news, it's that it doesn't appear to have gotten colder than about 65 degrees there all week, according to the NWS. That means warm nights!
