The only thing like being hacked to me was when I needed some help for my website, and the tech on the phone told me to punch in a code. He was then able to remote access my computer. It was crazy, I just watched the cursor opening up browser windows. I was totally impressed and scared at the same time

Was it a code or your IP address? RC tools are wonderful, especially when you can sit in Kansas City and upgrade the software on a laptop in Sydney.

A buddy of mine is a self proclaimed conspiracy theorist and internet sleuth. Several years ago he was poking around "some place he knew he shouldn't have been" when a line of text appeared on his computer screen. It asked him if he wanted to see something really interesting. And then his hard drive started spinning wildly. In the end he'd recieved hundreds of files of classified government info. He said it took him months to sort it all out.CLARKcon wrote:... The combination of that and that police brutality clip - these bastards can do anything they want. Sometimes I feel like it's just blind luck I haven't been rolled. yet.
edited for typos

That video is tame, 24 hours prior to that beating on the other side of the state here in KC the cops arrested a man on a disturbance call and tasered him three times. They hauled him downtown to jail and 45 minutes later he was dead...while in custody. The local media is having a field day over that, now we have the St. Louis assault...it's not good times for our local LE right now.

Yeah, he stopped resisting... the STL media is calling this the local equivalent of the Rodney King incident. It's stirring up a firestorm out there right now. I think it's outrageous....

It's something to drink about, for sure. Here's a copper that'll take ya down easy:
Copacabana
1 3/4 oz cachaca
3/4 oz chocolate syrup
3/4 oz pineapple juice
1 1/2 oz papaya juice
3/4 oz cream
Shake well over ice cubes in a shaker, and strain into a large highball glass. Fill with crushed ice, and serve.

Well, time for something a little more on the lighter side, but still disturbing. Great song, parody of "Silence of the Lambs"...

Mozy Bonz taught my how to pour. He's the man hereabouts. Plus Tisha, the hoistess with the moistest, has the best-stocked bar you can imagine. Here, come around back of the bar and try your hand ....CLARKcon wrote:Damn BigC, are you/ have you been a bartender in the default world?
