I was checking out apartment and house rentals, there, Sensei...I have to say, they aren't too far off what we're paying in Reno. I'll have a Ba by the time I get there with a minor in psychology, so I ought to be able to get a decent job.

SF prices, I think, are grossly underestimated by people who do not live there. Rachel and I tried to move there and damn, we were looking at prices like $900 - 1100/mo for a studio. For real.

Any tips on relocating, though? Neighborhoods not to live in...bad commutes to UW from anywhere in particular? Good bar with jazz to hang out in?
