Well... I’m still waiting for something to come along worth rubbin' on. RLL’s not here, nor GE, Msky, Blue... just me and you brother... So I’m just sitting in the corner sipping a beer.

And now I know for sure I'm not rubbing up against you, either. Yikes!!

Well, bull... I hope you get to feeling better. A friend of mine here in town was on the couch for a few days with whatever it is going around. Icky... Hang in there, my friend.

I used to live in Reno years ago so it's sort of a trip to read you and fatsam talking about places that were there when I lived there.

That is the one! Sounds great - cleaning the playa by day and drinking cold ones by the burn barrels at night...

April 2 Town Meeting

Post by the_iconoclast » Mon Mar 21, 2005 8:51 pm

Is anybody from the Reno area going to the Town Meeting on April 2? I am planning on going and would love to split gas expenses with any interested parties.

Hi guys!

Peru was fanfuckingtastic. Almost too much fun.

This one is for Tisha because I don't think she saw it on the 3playa:

Do you think longer boards are better to learn on?

I was thinking they might be more stable.
By all means, longboard are better to learn on, but not too long. Something nice and thick in the 7'6" to 8' funboard range is a good bet. Remember, it is all about the paddling at the beginning.

Hey Bucket, that book sitting in front of you looks a lot like the This is Burning Man book. Am I right?

Blue, congrats on paying off your loan!
So the theme this year is like a giant camp out in the desert? With people bringing lots of shit from all over? uh.. -Marscrumbs

loving the Peru pix! Somehow BHA just looks out of place everywhere but on the playa :) but maybe it's just a trick of the light...heh.

I don`t want to be a pest,
but does anyone have an E.T.A. on when the
Forum will be open again for a wider variety of discussions?
I didn`t notice until they were un-available, just how much I enjoyed
keeping up with the various "advice" and "experience" threads.
Thanks for all the work you guys have put into Eplaya, and I am
looking forward to seeing the improvements.... And really looking
forward to this years burn!!!

Love , EvilDustBooger

Ok, so fucking check this shit out - my last two days:

Yesterday: had the contract talk with the school, as predicted no contract for me next year, no problemo, saw it coming, wanted to do something else anyways, so ok, but then they say, and we want to buy out the rest of your contract, so after spring break YOU DON'T HAVE TO COME BACK TO WORK UNLESS YOU WANT TO for projects or whatever, and WE'LL KEEP PAYING YOU THE SAME AMOUNT UNTIL THE END OF THE SUMMER and i'm like, what the fuck, did you just say you're going to pay me to not work? cuz fuck yes i like that idea! more time to look for a new job you say, well how very nice of you! give me a great recommendation you say, well thank you very much! it's like someone gave me the fucking get out of jail free card...fuck yes!!!

Today: went to the post office and picked up my TICKET TO BURNINGMAN which made my fucking day right there, thankyouverymuch, and then got a call from the people who really own my van, and they said they are going to LOWER MY INTEREST RATE BY 13 POINTS and my payment is going down like a hundred bucks lower, and fuck, whatever i am doing i need to do more of it, because this shit fucking ROCKS!!!

drinks are definitely on me :)

Oh, yeah... (hopping up) Rub some of that good vibe all over me, mama!!

(flop... roll, twist)

Good to see you’re in a good space. I just finished my taxes and I actually got a little back!! (Read that as didn’t have to pay in as much for the 1st quarter). And you’ve got your ticket!!! YEAH!!! Mine is locked up in the fireproof safe. I take it out sometimes and look at it.

nice kitty, nice kitty *scritching under chin and around ears*

taxes, yes, well i've been afraid to do them fearing the check would be outgoing rather than incoming, but heck, the way things are going lately i should just do it and see, huh?

fireproof safe, wow...mine's just in my purse! last year i hung it up on the wall above my computer so i could look at it all the time...and it was the first thing i packed when i started packing me van...taped it into the glove compartment :)

ticket...happy ticket...shiny ticket!
