Out of Africa, 1875-1907 [Victorian theme camp-unregistered]

You know, I'm actually kind of glad Out of Africa didn't pan out this year, because the weather/dust storms would have obliterated everything I would have brought or built.

And why should your camp torment be different than everyone elses?

The idea I had required a lot of hand props and big, open tents. That would have lasted about ten minutes before being eaten/erased by the desert. I knew the weather would be harsh, but that was an eye-opener. Lesson learned.

Had some other ideas for next year.. More suited to the harsh clime. May rework the Out of Africa idea [very fond of it, already done work on it], or do a WW2 bar thing that's a bit over the top. Me and my big ideas..

SF has that big city isolation thing going on.
Be prepared to tell someone you meet to go fuck themselves on a daily basis.
It still has all those very smart and interesting people too.
