Hey Everyone!

The Clock project is on schedule and will arrive on the playa August 20th for installation. Just to clear up a few misconceptions...
- the clocks central laser emitter tower will be 45' tall and located aprox 700' from the man along the promenade leading out to the Temple.
- Each night at midnight, our "hour hand" laser will lock on and light up the temples main spire for one hour.
- there are 3 1.6Watt lasers on the clock emitting from the main center tower out over BRC. The second hand will "tick" past you at over 220' per second if you are on the Esplanade.
- The clock will not be "In your face". You will have to look 40'+ overhead, locate each laser and "interpret" the correct time. If you would prefer to go with the more traditional "playa time" concept... "don't look up!"

- As soon as the Man falls, the clock will start "ticking backwards" with each tower sequentially exploding into flames until time, the clock and the man comes to it's fiery end....

Silly question, we have a tower that gets us up a good 30+ feet above the Esplanade. Will the second hand be in our face?

Looking forward to this either way....

The 1MileClock Project was a huge success. We were keeping accurate time for all 7 days of the festival. I am now compiling the "evidence" documentation and pics for Guinness book inclusion as The Worlds Largest Timepiece".
If anyone has good pics (or video) of the clocks lasers in operation, we could sure use them for Guinness. Hope you enjoyed our art! - Jim Bowers (clock artist)

Hello, My name is Crystal. Last year was my first year at Burning Man and I absolutely loved it. Now I am looking for a picture that was posted at the one mile clock. It showed regular white rabbits turning into tye dyed rabbits in an hour glass. I fell in love, was wondering if anyone knows the artist and where I could maybe get a copy of the print. It would be awesome if I could find it. I do have a picture of it but its blurry (my camera takes horrible night photos). PLEASE HELP!
