interesting, I had a totally different take on it: I'd think the "virgin" moniker and identification, would allow that we'd be more gentle, knowing they may not know how it all works, we'd be open and instructive, patient and kind.

I can imagine, as a talking meat cake, the whole world looks like they're holding a fork and catsup bottle.

Cascadia, far predates this thread, and as far as I know, was based on the territory of the Cascade range. It can be argued as far south (^Rhino?) as about Marysville.

I see in Cascadia, a very good start. We have Britzbitz, a seasoned event organizer, poster (D.A.) inhabitant, and super nice, and Elliot, known Nice Guy, ingenious inventor and all around good at spelling and grammar.

I have this dream:

Between them, I see the formation of a society free of angst and petty squabbles. I see cartoons flowing freely, without bias or inhibition.
I see also, The Marx Brothers, 3 Stooges, Abbott and Costello and Our Gang, as roll models for social interaction and tolerance.
I see corner fountains, flowing grape flavor aid, freely and unpolluted.
I see a park, where Foghorn Leghorn, Heckle and Jeckyl, Super Chicken and "Killer, the Vulture", can hold hands and dance in circles, without threat from Sylvester.
I see streets where the speed limit signs just say "safe", and because we care, it works.
I see Jots on corners, clean and blue, without gender signs, because, really we all fart..........
I see grocery stores, with bacon and pickle isles.
I see signs, that say "drink some water"
I see our internal police, patterned after the Keystone Cops
I see border patrols, just like Perimeter on the playa, staffed with highly intelligent, good looking, witty patrol folks.
I see our border crossings, manned by giggling naked greeters, handing out informative papers, and subjecting new residents to a challenging gauntlet of hugs, dust angels and bell ringing. This also serving to dissuade any marauding bands of ner do wells, knowing they'd have to interact with our greeters, en masse.
I see free flowing absinthe fountains in parks, and hemp hedges, where there is never a need for grooming.

This, is the beginning of my dream. Please add as you feel moved.................

Kelowna is most certainly within bounds.

My grandparents lived there for 25 years of my life. It's hella warm there. Desert country. They don't get hardly any snow in the winter, nor does it get very cold. 50s-ish.
