Sometime back in August or so after becoming aware that some horndogs PM’d woman eplayans just because they thought their avatar was hot, I launched a sock with a VERY HOT picture. She is now in semi-retirement after getting married to Samtzu. I think Sensei performed the ceremony.

Anyway, after my sock’s first post to a thread about stripper poles or something, the messages started to come in. At least in my mind, my sock was having a little competition with Glittering Clitoris as to which would get more play than the other. I think that Glit Clit kicked my sock’s ass, so “personality” may have something to do with it. My sock was kind of….uh…stupid.

One notable thing about the PMs my sock received was the banality of them. The horndogs might open with, “are you as hot in person as you are in your picture?” Whew, dude, way to go, huh?

Uh... wait.... wait... wait..... The marriage was never consumated. It's not legal.... Sensei lied about being a New Jerusalem Reformed Druid/Zorantrian minister.... I lost the license.... okay. here's the update.

dude and i actually pm'd back and forth several times yesterday. i took the high road and honestly communicated my discomfort with his approach - like BHA said:

and we ended up having a good, illuminating discourse. really too long and convoluted to sum up here, but i explained that his PM (something to the effect of offering to fill my "needs" based on a long-ago post of mine and pulled out of context) was inappropriate. he apologized, but said i was taking myself too seriously. i said you can't apologize and blame me at the same time. i related the PM to sneaking up behind a stranger and whispering innuendo without any prior connection or grabbing my ass without permission. creepy. he acknowledged that i had a point. i acknowledged that i've been feeling prickly about these things lately (reading Virginia Wolff right now...). he said, great conversation - i pissed you off, you pissed me off, we both learned something. then he asked about an emoticon for ass-grabbing. i said it was next to the one for a left hook.
