All the Mutant Vehicle thing is way too much work for one person. Handicapped golf cart best option. Coppers less likely to hassle cotton tops.
Didn’t you just get through talking about building the biggest MVs ever seen?
20-years, Very impressive indeed. Time for you to break out of the doldrums of mediocrity, think outside the box and contribute your experience to grander enterprises. Goddamnit!
I have always thought (hot air) about doing grand things. Dellusions of grandeur I suppose. Like my house, over 5,000 square feet on five acres surrounding by a 6 foot concrete block wall I enjoy speciousnous and walls. The county wouldn't let me dig a moot around the property. You can't fart in Los Angeles county with a Visit to the Department of bureaucracy and red tape. And none of them located in a central location.
Think Crazy Horse Mount Rushmore.
So, what's the max MV footprint!!!

I’ve got two houses in Seattle.
Go look at real estate value here...
You’re gonna come up with an incredibly grand scheme and magically a huge team of builders are going to do it all under your direction, even though you don’t know WTF you’re talking about.
There’s no specified max footprint but there are practical limitations.
A real engineer would learn what those are and then engineer something that’s going to work.
That’s what Charles Lindbergh, the Wright Brothers, Alexander Graham Bell, and all those other guys you like to compare yourself to (hahahaha...) did.
You are not in their league.

Re: CARB
It is not entirely accurate that CARB does not have anything to do with Nevada. Perhaps not presently, however, many states are adopting CARB rules, guidelines, regulations and policies. For example, from what I've read so far, all fuel containers used at burning man must be CARB approved. As California goes the nation follows.
The only certain days are you allowed to burn a fire place. The only exemption being if it's your only source of heat. Helicopters flying around at night enforcing the regulations, issuing warnings and citations.
I assume hazardous waste management response team standing by during the event?
Are there perimeter barricades to prevent hostile vehicle intrusions?

What did you actually do at the B1 bomber production plant, clean the toilets?
"What did I do at the B1 bomber production plant"
Well, production simulator. My dad taught me well. He told me, "Never a walk around the hanger without carrying something, even if it has have absolutely nothing to do with what you're working on, carry something." Priceless advise that served me well throughout the years.
My productivity was measured by an evil Gannt chart. There were rows and rows of Gannt charts managed by pesky, pencil pushing bean counters. My assignment progress was measured and tabulated hourly. I learned to color in the chart "on time" no matter if I was ahead of schedule or behind. If I fell behind I had to get my ass in gear and make it up, but no matter what, my chart always reflected I was on time. Pencil pushers know a lot about charts but absolutely nothing about airplanes.
Gesh, people are super passionate about air pollution controls. Particularly, those against regulations.
Having grown up in the smoggiest city in America during the 1950s and 60s, I am all in for cleaner air. Smoggy days were a debilitating for me as inhailing caused severe discomfort. My only refuge was under the cool, dense air of a window air-conditioner.
This whole event looks a personal injury Attorney's dream.
Any statistics on civil actions?

The more I think about this Burning Man thing, the more I want to think about it.
For environmental reasons, Burning man is obviously something that would never be allowed in California and considering Naveda is a blue state, I am surprised the ecoweenies ain't whinnying all the way to state and federal capitals.
They used to have fire falls at Yosemite and that was banned due to environmental reasons.
Get your burn on before the burn is eventually banned.

Damn, they were all considered wackos once.
Enough already goddammit dangnabit. Even though I'm an asshole I wasn't talking out of my ass hole.
Answer me this goddamnit. Barring any other regulatory obstacles and having unlimited financial resources, would it be possible to accomplish any of my concepts?
For example, an Olympic size pool filtered with the state of the art Mobile water treatment equipment. Hell you could even be covered with a geodesic dome, doesn't have to move it could be considered a tribute to the technological wonders of humanity.
One thing I can guarantee, it would be a popular tribute and BABE Magnet!!!
I can see me now, manning one of the dozens of plexiglass decontamination chamber water cannons. Hosing playa dust from the cleavage and twats of nude babes.
What more motivation do you want then that Goddamnit!!!????
Certainly would be interesting to run a cost analysis. Would a million cover it? I'm not talking a Gunite pool I'm talking some kind of rubber membrane that could be repurposed as a water reservoir or cover for the dome.
Or the entire pool, dome and equipment donated to a local community.
I cognizant it would require a enormous capital and thousands of human hours of a multitude of contruction disciplines, skilled project manager/troubleshooters, advisers, illustrators, artists, engineers, you name it. executive/administrative staff and reams of Gannt charts. But first architectural plans.
Maybe the water treatment apparatus could be donated to local reservation/third World country Same for the dome?
It's all about bringing together a team who share a common passion. And the internet can be a tool to accomplish the endeavor. Like ants each having function.
Come on goddamnit!!! Dare to dream big!!!
Goddamnit! Don't tell me what I can't do, tell me how I can do what I want to do!!!
So, where do all the creative Burners hang out. No, I am not trying to imply you lack creativity, just Imagination!!!

Olympic size pool and geodesic dome
Some may say it can't be done, I say otherwise. Pool constructed in such a manner that it could be deconstructed donated and reassembled at a final resting place, maybe a local community as pool or reservoir. Same for the dome. Water treated and distributed for drinking during event.
Don't waste your time telling me it can't be done, tell me how it can be done.
Artists, architects, electrical engineers, water treatment engineers, fundraiser specialist, attorneys and so many more needed, accountants, project managers, truck drivers, Carpenters, electricians, lifeguards.
Let's form a feasibility committee???
