I'd put that shit thru the dryer before coming out. All those fake hairs! And the anorexic chick doesn't look like she's hydrated.

Right up there with Flight of the Conchords, but easier to dance to.

Our beautiful BDC&WB stickers arrived today.
Now to think of something really interesting to put it on or make with it.

Hay, at least we give something back long before you arrive on the playa. There is a reason (and BBSue, we can discuss this between ourselves over copious shots of absinthe and vodka) why we are the best damn themecamp, and it goes without saying village (Oops, I said it) on the playa. Year after year. So if any of the rest of you yahoos who are somehow not part of our Village, shoot me an email with your name and address to: [email protected] or send a SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope) to Dr. Pyro/PO Box 173/Penryn, CA 95663 and I will see to it you get the 2012 BRC oval sticker. Someday. Those that send a SASE will probably get answered (saves me 45 cents) first, but who knows until somebody actually tries, right?

Barbie Pink Camo Netting
Is this cool or what???
Found it here.
It only comes in 7 foot widths, but, I think I can crochet 2 lengths together with pink paracord.

I spoke with the placement people and we are in "The 3 O'Clock Sector". If I had to guess I would imagine we will have the same placement as the previous couple of years (you can check out the 2011 map as see for yourself): 3:30 to 3:50, stretching from E all of the way to G (F does not go through at that part of the playa).tattoogoddess wrote:

Tracy will begin placement of the individual theme camps, then the individual burners themselves, in July. We cannot actually start placement until we hear from the BMOrg exactly what space we have. But after doing this for so many years, we have it down to something of a science.

and remember, as above highlighted statement implies, if Doc does not have it down, he'll be going there soon.

Yet again - Get distracted by real life and suddenly you miss everything!
Anyhow - SO excited to see you all on the playa. Got together with a bunch of people from Burning Man, including someone from BDC, although I fail horribly to remember his name. So cool to finally meet so many people face to face.

Re: Barbie Death Village 2012: More Decadence, Less Toleranc
Normally I'd do this privately, but I'll come out of the darkness a little to publicly comment on one Dr. Pyro. I took advantage of his offer of 2012 stickers on behalf of my daughter, the whole SASE business. She was very pleasantly surprised.
As was I when my wife asked, "Who the heck is this Dr. Pyro and why did he send me these stickers?" Autographed on the back, no less. Sent to her (In error, since the pre-printed return address labels are all in her name - a very good catch) wholly on his own initiative.
When I consider the hotel reservations in Reno that you've shared with the community at large, coupled with how you treated a total stranger, I must say your generosity and grace exemplify the best that is Burning Man. This may be an unsettled year, but if there's more people like Dr. Pyro lighting the way, it will be a good year.
So, Dr. Pyro, you get two gifts in return:
1. Four hours of my time, to invest as you see fit. Helping set up. Mooping. Helping tear down (I plan on leaving not before Tuesday). Gathering up passed-out hippies and tossing them out into the street. Not that I have anything against hippies, of course; it's just the clutter.
2. A selection of mixers delivered to BDC on Thursday or Friday. Or cheap wine, if you prefer. It is a wine bistro after all.
And, of course, my thanks.
