The Bar
Hi Boxy!
Greeting is some of the most fun I've ever had on the playa. Just practice being loud, obnoxious and over the top and youre there. (Or get hammered on tequila prior to/during your shift)
It can be pretty brutal during the worst of the dust 'cause you have to be out in it doing your thing. Otherwise, it's tons of fun, especially with virgins seeing BRC for the first time.

I liked the greeters when I went for the first time in 2006! Then again, it helped that I got extra hugs for ringing the bell so loudly no one could hear for the next few minutes!Greeting is some of the most fun I've ever had on the playa. Now I need to figure out how to get myself back out there, and bring some of my friends....
HEY! What's up with this trapdoor in the floor?

(The sound of rustling coming from behind the rusty cast iron stove in the corner, long aandoned and neglected, with a box of old 78 records perched precariously on top...
Then... a bang. The sound of scraping metal, like a cat sliding on a hot tin roof, fills the bar. The stove slides noisily to the side, revealing another hidden door.
The door opens, and from behind appears, in the dark, a pair of hazel eyes, glowing in the dark... Blinking at the light... And a voice is heard...)
HEY!!
Who put the stove over the top of the secret Bar-to-Bunker Transit Tunnelway?? Damn, someone outta check this out once in a while. Grumble grumble... Teach me for doing one of Mozy's double-decker asskick absinthe surprises! How long I been passed out in there? Feels like I slept a month! DAMN, I'm hungry.
(looks around, sees a snow drift on the floor, icicles hanging from the back rafters...)
Uhhh... wait a minute. It looks like WINTER out there... How long HAVE I been passed out?

……..voices in the shadows
We are getting……..Increasing frequencies radio waves, microwaves, terahertz radiation, infrared radiation, visible light, ultraviolet radiation, X-rays and gamma.
Because of the nature of the pulse as a large, long, high powered, noisy spike, it is doubtful that there would be much protection if the explosion were seen in the sky just below the tops of hills or mountains next to BRC.
SHHHH wait?!? ...........Lets go.
