Yes, we met in the lovely Victorian Derbyshire town of Buxton. I also met boyfriend and son of Nogga. We had lunch and wandered around a bit and went to a toy fair. Moo is a sweetie, although prone to the sort of breakdowns that all small children get.

Aw, phooey! I missed Lorgasm's birthday, and sending a "Hello!" to noggin! :(

(I suppose I shouldn't complain too much-- I spent most of Saturday at a science fiction convention in Madison. It was my choice, after all.)

Spent most of today sleeping. Did I miss anything?

(Hangs upside down by arms and legs from a tree branch, goes back to sleep.)

Todays project, because I am pissed, was to bend a 9 foot brass pole around a mesquite tree. Care to guess how many turns I got?

Try seven. Drilled a 1/2 in hole through it at one end, attached it to the tree with a bridge spike, and pushed like a lever, might get one more tomorrow.

Sad thing about Va Tech.
Wow.
(moment of silence for those killed this morning)
I had many long talks about it today.

In a way less serious news article/ item : my university art studio building was called "the Dangerous Art Dungeon" in a local Sunday paper.

I just think it's cool that I work in a DANGEROUS ART DUNGEON ...

say aren't you guys only about 10 feet apart right now? it’s almost like your socks of one another,... Ok not really, just giving you a hard time,...

LeChat I think you’d have to at least push some dirt up along the outside walls for it to considered a dungeon,.. sweat shop status is easier maybe you could go for that,...

The way the ex's office was set up when he still lived down here, we would be sitting online back to back with maybe 2' between us. Mr.Koosh has threatened me with great bodily harm if I ever try to IM him from the same house. ;-)

My mom would call my cell phone (when I slept over at her place) to wake my up in the morning, so she wouldn't have to go down the stairs!

I thought THAT was HILARIOUS....
and then she emailed me from her desk as I was writing a paper in the next room... she just said she didn't want to interrupt me.

What is it with you people! Kbomb (her latest nickname) and I surf together when we're together.

ETA: Time for a drink. Maybe just a simple Margarita. No fancy slushies. Just some tequila, some triple sec, lime juice and ice.
