No, but I took too many mushrooms one time and then, annoyed at someone I didn't like in my group, went into my tent to meditate. I spent the next two hours dead and in purgatory, and I had to solve a puzzle that involved arranging a sequence of seemingly-insignificant life events into the proper order. Get it right, and the result would be a comedy; I would spend eternity laughing. Get it wrong, and it would be a tragedy; I would spend eternity weeping. I kept getting it wrong, but every time was given another chance. That's the story from my perspective. From the perspective of my fellow campers (and the many, many families camping nearby), I spent those two hours half-naked in a tent, thrashing and screaming "Lies! I'm so sick of the lies! 5, 4, 3, 2, FUCK! Alexander Elementary School! Something in the drawer is unfolded! I'm so sorry officer, so sorry!" at the top of my lungs, over and over. We got evicted from the park the next morning (thank-you, compassionate rangers, for not calling LEOs and or EMTs), and I had nightmares and flashbacks for months. Yeah... that was many, many years ago. I've been much more careful with the choice and dosage of chemical mood-enhancers since then.

TPBM is surprised. S/he had always been told you can't get a bad trip on mushrooms.

You can have a bad trip on ANYTHING (reality included) if you're in the wrong head space when you start your adventure.

TPBM would never be caught in the wrong head space!

Nope, not dreaming. At least not that I remember.

I do indeed. You need to dream. If you don't sleep, you start dreaming when you're awake. They call these hallucinations. They are not generally recommended.

TPBM has lucid dreams.

Little bit. Mostly my partner is. He's kind of a princess about his creature comforts, so he insists on making these fancy meals with our little cookstove. I think at least one night this year we'll be having a coconut-milk beef curry, and at least once a similar thing with veg instead of meat.

TPBM has found him/herself naked in public, not at Burning Man, and was rather embarrassed to discover that it was not a dream.

Luckily I was wearing a bathrobe. Seriously, people get dressed when there's a fire alarm?
TPBM got caught wearing ugly cloths...and thinks nudity might have been an improvement.

Virtually all of my clothes are, or at the very least tacky.
I spend a few hours each day walking around naked in the yard. Nothing like the feeling of the wind blowing blowing through my hairs...

I don't have enough data to support or refute that hypothesis. I'll just have to attend a few more burns...

Having managed to live this many years without seeing a single episode of this show, I'd not have been able to give a very educated answer. But I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm "relieved" by that.

Is the loss of decorum in the Commons the cause or the result of the public disengaging themselves from their franchise?
