Fuck....it's been an interesting ride.
But everything's packed up, the Penske truck will be here in 20 minutes, and it's load and go.
Rather than look back and regret what could have been, it's better to look forward at the possibilities of what could be.
It took 5 years longer than I ever fucking intended to do it, but it's finally fucking happening.
But it does mean saying goodbye to my family, and a city I have lived in for most of my life. No amount of optimism covers that kind of sadness.
This post is simply meant to mark the occasion...and perhaps to gloat that I'm going to do some things that many people talk about but never have the balls to do.

Fucking weight watchers of all places. See, there's this really nice lady on the scifi forums, and she was complaining about how mean they were to her on WW message boards. She's a quasi-friend, so I went and had a look in fucking general discussion. Yep, mean, name calling, poking fun at her, critical of her grammar, just rude and evil and calling it sarcasm. (She boils her steaks and her hubby don't like spices, hey whatever). Also, she's a big fan of an actor, and the nasty fuckers started mocking MacGyver! One does not mock the MacG! This nice lady does not deserve such treatment. She's original and unintentionally funny. I like her; I like her friend Isis who tried to be supportive and got shot down. So I came up with a new name, signed up and went to town in general discussion. Of course, making fun of them or scolding them is counter-productive, so I went over the top with insulting myself based on their comments. And so on. They cannot stop replying. fucking morons. They even came over to the scifi boards to stalk her! The vile women tried to troll there, but the mods shut them down in a heartbeat.
If anyone cares to read this drek, look for DownDawn in fucking general discussion, lamchops and Oh Mighty Isis are the best. The urls? I think they have me blocked from mozilla, I have to go in through IE or another user. Puh-leez do not mention eplaya, they think of me as the scifi troll. I may go back and look, I may not. Have fucking fun.
