Exactly, Simon, and the heads of the Chinese Politburo have to have a 7.5% uptick in GDP yearly or they see the potential for a revolution. And, many of the heavy machinery industries over there are owned by the People's Liberation Army. Standard misunderstanding on the Chinese part of the realities of the tradeoffs of guns and butter.

Comrades, I missed you all so. No, that is not a tear in my eye… It is only dust…

First, I would like to apologize to all the people who had their Burn ruined by my unacceptable behavior. From what I have been told, that is the standard by which we measure behavior. I cannot mention what my behavior was, without the risk of being banned again. Though I imagine you were all affected greatly seeing as to how fast my transgression was dealt with. Again, the sincerest of apologies.

Second, I would like to give a shout-out to all the fine upstanding eplaya folks who suddenly discovered rules and regulations and standards that apply to Burning Man, of which eplaya is a part. I knew they would eventually come around. Sure, I wasn’t setting up boutique hotels for wealthy clients out on K and L, then I would have had no problem on eplaya, but the fact that the people who remained so silent and accommodating to that rot have finally come around to see the light and are now active in “protecting” the event from further corruption thru rules, regulations and bannings gives me hope that eventually they will use that desire in their dealings with the powerful who are raising prices and not on people actively keeping prices down, if only to appear vaguely fair and just to the rabble.
