At least it won't be so hot during the day...I was really looking forward to sipping a tasty beverage at the end of the world, but I suppose I could sip a tasty beverage at the end of the gods and the known universe instead... (snif' - It just won't be the same tho')

I don't know, but all the dead hair & skin particles that fall off of every person as they walk certainly is! I have found hairs over 6" when picking up...(the dead skin particles I leave behind)

Don't look now, but I was perusing the theme kamp list when I found this little camp.

World Domination Headquarters

They are stealing some of your hot air (not like there's plenty to go around) and that kannot be tollerated!

The pleasure torture squad shall have their way with them, and they shall either join or be eliminated! There kan be only one!

Looks like a nice kamp.
I saw no doom though.

What kind of world domination
doesn`t have some sort of doom?

Or at least a very irrate, oppressed neighbor.

Camp Apokiliptika is dead. The only things left are the F.O.H.'s (friends of Heli) who keep hanging around, Jennifer6's hostile posts...oh and an almost full inbox of threats promising revenge. I'd post those emails but last time I did that I got hammered for it. But they are pretty amusing.

Problem is, I find it hard not to like someone who , on her very first post, bellys up to "the bar" and asks for a PBR. To quote... "Bully!!" (Not to mention, she's one of us that run INTO bad situations to do good, not the other way around...)

And about this FOH stuff... there are a LOT of people who are "FOH"'s. Mind you, I was here long before I even KNEW Heli. And so what if he's a friend? You judge everyone by who their friends are? Kinda narrow minded... I have a lot of people who are friends. And I don't just "hang around".

Something I learned a long time ago. DON'T REACT! Let the heat of the moment pass (or push it away - there's a skill for people to learn) and then be calm, deliberate... and treat others with love. You flash to people, they usually come back on a negative camber. AND... if you just don't get along with someone - fegeddaboudit... There's 6,461,826,325 other people out there, after all. Some of whom will be at BRC this year! Some of whom may even be your friend.

And I gotta admit - the Apokiliptika Project (like the Manhattan Project) was a LOT of fun. Haven't had that much fun in a loooooong time. Prolly won't until... hmm... prolly this time next week >>B.F.Grins<<. May even meet some of those out of the aforementioned 6.4 billion

And speaking of Manhattans... think I'll go have one! Maybe 2.

One thing about Apokiliptika I really liked was the propaganda posters. Someone was pretty good at coming up with 150+ like that.

I'm thinking if there were no Apokiliptika except for the 99.9FM radio tower, that would be an EXCELLENT place to tether a zeppelin.

...only instead of hydrogen, it should be filled with oxyacetylene.

Why didn't you think of that earlier. From the photo footage of the radio tower we could have "built" that as a project, too. Too late now...

But. One never knows. Maybe next year I'll do a... Lessee... Kamp Hindenburg. Have a radio station playing 30's and 40's music, authentic souonding news broadcasts, and german propoganda. From the tower have a Zeppelin that burns every 1/2 hour. Have it lit off a Jacobs Ladder effect, using Propane as a fuel (Acetylene leaves that moop-y black soot - yeech!!)... And Oxy + Acetylene confined and torched becomes... hmmm.... one hell of a bomb. Ka-blewie. (That's why they monitor Acetylene so damn closely)

If there WAS an Apokiliptika, there wouldn't be after the first explosion. If the zeppelin were big enough, there would be no camps left near it. Acetylene is VERY NASTY stuff when confined and torched.

When unconfined and torched, it can be very convincing as well....makes one think of big explosions.
