Morning, all. Seems like summer may actually be here. Supposed to be about 78 here today. Coffee maker, if not the coffee (LOL), looked awesome thkis morning.

Had the last of my B'Day parties last night. My daughter and her fiance had us to his place for dinner. She made short ribs on polenta that was really wonderful. Had some dark Chimay beer. Now that is beer! That's the good news. The bad news is that the scale this morning told me I had too good a dinner last night! Back to my chicken and banana diet today.

So, Carpe Diem! Piney, don't work too hard, Sput fly carefully on your trip, YG, stay as sweet as you are, Elorrum, keep on cookin, Little Flower keep on painting, Gyre, thinkin about you and tornados, if I've ommitted anyone, chalk it up to my ever more addled and aging memory

78, shit, I would swear the weather channel said it was going to be in the low 70s at best. Maybe I'll pack a pair of shorts just in case.

Perhaps the question might br raised, is he saying that he smells good after said beautiful weekend or is it the Expresso? Peace brothers and sisters, it is the Expresso!

Hello ya'll.....have a good flight Sputnik!

Wow what a weekend!!! Fell so good to get all that done!
We couldnt have done it without our crazy work horse friend Ed!

He's like a crazy man...works works works...no sitting no break...just works.... ahhh~ reminds me of, me, 20 yrs ago!

Ed and I worked through Wed. and Thur. through the snow and wind.
Was nice to have a calm day yesterday...hahaha well till we got the first 2 pergola posts up, then we got two rouge 25-30 mph winds.
Luckily they never came back!!! and we were able to set the other 13 posts!

Now anyone see a hot tub? were looking for a used free to cheap one, to stick in that patio!

Cart before the horse...ya know!

I've heard of a couple of free hot tubs lately...................if I can remember who offered, I'll let you know.

Of course, I'd need an invite up, to deliver it.........I'm not sure one will fit in "the tank", or, will it?

In other news, I'm in San Jose now ready to do some damage. We came in from the south, I waved toward the north when we were south of Reno and south when we passed over the sierras. I was hoping to catch a glimpse of the playa, but I couldn't even see Reno we were so far south.

Off to have some drinks soon.

aeropress uses special filters, and is a lot smaller in size. this one uses loose grind in a coffee holder more like a regular espresso machine. makes a nice double shot... just pour hot/boiling water in top... pull arms up, push arms down. hey presto! coffee. came with a neat little milk frother too. I used "all clad" presso as a search string, and found one about 50 bucks less than on the main presso(uk) site.

No just stopping in for a bit. Trying to figure out what to work on and it is making my head hurt. I STILL havent opened my bins from 08 to go through them. I really NEED to do that but its a scary thought.

I know and I worry that it will be the tipping point of keeping my burning enthusiasm in check. Once I smell the dust and snuggle the playa coat it will be the point of no return and all of my co-workers and non-burner friends and kin will not be able to deal with me for the next 4 months.
