My beloved parrot, Xyrus aka Flappy, the 12 year old child I have raised from the egg shell, was run over on the Playa today.
I miss him already, soooo much.

Flappy was a burner since 2002 and he lived a happy flappy life. So tragic, so sad. He was the Playa Chicken.
We will hold his memorial burn near the Bummer sculpture some time in the week of the event. I'll figure it out later when we are done hammering.
This whole trip has been surreal beyond any Dali painting.

I am so sorry. I lived with a budgie for a few years, a lot of personality packed into a tiny bird. Broke my husband's heart when she died.

So here I am sitting in LA, moping a bit, coping, dealing ...
I go and crack open a cold beer and go to the porch and sit myself down when the heat of the day was passing, for a good cigar, my dog at my side.
She perks her ears up and heads to the corner of the porch and starts barking.
A second goes by and a big fucking rock comes flying down the porch.
I get on down to the corner and my crazy neighbor is standing there in my driveway chucking rocks at my dog. One misses me by a few inches as I walk up.
I go verbally ballistic at the motherfucker, at the top of my lungs. The crazy bastard backs off my property and then goes yelling at me from his driveway.
What a fucking crazy old buzzard. The dog pissed on his lawn earlier that day! What the FUCK!
No one was hit by the rocks and no property damaged.
I called five-O on his dumb ass. Got this shit documented. He was a few inches from felony assault the stupid assed moron. Go to jail over dog piss. What a fucking idiot.
What next.
