I really try to avoid PC prissiness. You'll notice I only talked about how I felt, not try and get anyone else to feel badly or change the name. Depending on age it could be left over from a time where racism was more acceptable. I do think we have a responcibility to honor the damage our past behavior has caused. I don't think getting namby-pamby about language is much help. Tends to cover up the root causes. Oh well.

Anyone else experiencing a lot of lag when loading the Bar?
Also, just finished loading Vista Ultimate on my 64 -bit system; gotta say I love it. All the tablet features with my Wacom Intuos are fantastic. Just waiting for my (completely legal) torrent of CS4 to finish to see how my system works now that I'm using its full capability.
Very exciting.

Bad night for me. Fell asleep at 7:30pm and just woke now. Yes, that's 12 hours of sleep but not a good sleep and not in a good position. I'm creaky this morning and cranky.

Left my computer on all night and that is a first! Left the front door wide open!

I see MonkeyPoo is struggling too. Why must we struggle? Hopefully it will make us better in the long run.

Coffee, please

Good morning Goathead, I think I need the IV today.

It's going to be a weird day. My head is a mess because I missed a medicine dose last night and I'm late this morning with it. Not good, at all. I need a nurse to come live with me, I think.

Thanks for making more coffee, Goathead.

Is the FNG working out for you? Are you trying to frighten him with pictures of the snake?

I'm babysitting this morning for a few hours. Will be back on line later.

The sun's been up here for about 3 hours!

more like the FNG is getting a work out.
he is down in Fallon helping to rebuild one of our turbines.
we are still short handed though, not sure right now when I came back to work, no idea "first of the month?" when I will get a day off.

no wonder I am playing with buzz tails.

i need a life.

Wow, sounds like it will be hard for you to get burn time too!

FNG must be doing okay if he's off working on his own.

Too bad you can't bring your Fresnel to work, then you could get something else done while you monitor the controls.
