Second day in a row where you've started my day off on the right foot.

Yesterday I was absolutely blown away to look down and realize it was shod in a very sparkly slipper. By today I'm actually starting to see how really jewel encrusted it is!

The other foot feels a bit left out, but is still keeping up... not wanting to miss out on any of the action.

I might give it a pedicure to day in recompense.

Mornin' campers.

I'll be leaving in just a few hours from now for surgery on my right rotator cuff (shoulder). My surgeon has recommended that I stay off my feet at home until at least the first week in October. I hope to be back at work on a limited basis by Thursday, September 26 but that remains to be seen. (Running 401(k) rollovers isn't exactly heavy lifting.) I'm told that the procedure is very painful and I'm going to learn how to do everything left handed for awhile. I have received many nice notes from my friends and acquaintances wishing me well. I appreciate every one. I won't be able to respond in kind for some time, but make no mistake about it: It means a lot to me having so many people concerned about my welfare. Thank you all very much. So if I don't respond to you directly (and I probably won't) it's not that I'm ingoring you; rather, I'm ignoring everybody. But I'll keep reading between the norco and the hallucinations!

Thank Adobe Photoshop. Other photo editing programs can also do this sort of thing. It can probably be done better, but this is all I know about it.

I'm headed for Davis (90 miles) in a few hours, to deliver my camp-mates' big green polka-dottet Playa vehicle "Visualize Whirled Peas" and other luggage of theirs. Unpacking continues. :lol:

So much press about the Playa. Hope it doesn't go to its head. My sense is that the art was the best ever. Got a wonderful piece from AntiM's Wayward art camp! Loved your visit, Delle and Kenny. Msky & Mohairs MDF, that was special YG & Looneytunyand, top of the bus was really grand ..... what a view Nostalgia big time

I'll be volunteering at Mariposa Will Call at the SF Decomp from 2 - 5 so stop by if you are in the neighborhood Miss you all (((((((((((())))))))))))))

People just don't realize that 9.5 out of the 10 things I randomly do are probably suggested by my "poor, long-suffering" husband who for some ungodly reason just loves to see me get into predicaments.

Glee like that is rarely seen in the eyes of the truly downtrodden.

Gadzooks, Doc, good luck with the surgery and thinking positive thoughts for a speedy recovery. Hopefully you'll be prescribed the right stuff to take the sharp edges off those corners, and ease you into a nice, soft landing as you recover.
