WOW, the Black Rock Beacon has been moved from 9:00 plaza. Now we're in the middle of things on Evolution road - the wheel road around Center Camp. Evolution and 5:30!

That will take some getting used to.

I've camped on Esplanade or A street for every year except 2007, and all of it in tents. Put the earplugs in and let the doof doof take you to dream land. Of course it helps to be trying this at 4am or later.

did a bunch of playa shopping yesterday - came home and looked at the budget for the month and realized that i'll pretty much have to pull gas money out of my ass to get out there & back. have more funds when i get back (never fear - the children will eat), but getting out there is gonna be *tight*.
