The European Austerity Measure rioting now in news is a foreshadowing of what will happen in America. It is inevitable. Wait till the Petersen Group issues its Obama Austerity Report. These evil dudes, blessed by our Uncle Tom president, will recommend slicing social security payments and raising the retirement age. The banks on the other hand, are making record profits now. The shoe don't fit friends. Buy a gun and learn how to use it.

Just in case you have any self-perception problems, the EU has the answer.
" Human beings are also, alarmingly, being re-categorised in this new ‘Information Society’ as [computing term] ‘objects’ – biological economic devices – able to be continuously tracked and mobilised – alongside computer programs, ICT hardware and evolving forms of complex data, for the benefit of this new super-economy.
A biological economic device. That’s YOU."

This from Doug Casey;
The March Toward 1984 Continues
As we have discussed on several occasions in the past, it appears that George Orwell really understood the collective psyche of the English people and used that knowledge to his great advantage in writing 1984.
He must have had true insights, because it seems that almost never a day goes by without the English taking another long step towards the dystopian future Orwell imagined.
I was tipped to the latest by one dear UK friend and correspondent. It revolves around a new census initiative, administered by U.S. defense contractor Lockheed-Martin and scheduled for March of 2011.
The census is 32 pages long, with 56 questions about all the stuff you usually expect, including work, education, health, marital status, and so on.
But then it goes on to ask you about your sexual orientation and requires you to disclose which passports you hold. You are also required to provide details on the names, sex, and birthdates of any overnight guests you may have had in your house.
While some Brits might be tempted to slam the door in the face of census workers, that’s not an option. In fact, a failure to complete the census form, or to include false information, could result in a £1,000 fine or even imprisonment.
Here’s a story on the census from the Telegraph.
And this from a census office.
As I have remarked before, as much as I love the British sense of humor, the beer, and the snooker, if I lived in that country today, it would only be for long enough to pack my bags and otherwise settle my affairs in order that I might vote with my feet.

And the old world order flies merrily along:

"The European Austerity Measure rioting now in news is a foreshadowing of what will happen in America."
I don't think so. Americans are not so used to the idea that the world owes you a living as many Europeans have become. This generation of young people is also different than the whiny boomers. They don't really expect to be "taken care of" by the government and fully expect the boomers to piss away everything before they ever get a shot at any kind of the "free money" the government was passing out during the boomers' run at things.
Europe is a bit different. In some places, the notion of actually having to show up to work to get paid is quite foreign. Having to work 5 days a week is unthinkable to many. Not all, but many. If you look at where the rioting is most severe you see it in the places where the children were allowed to rule the family. They demanded more and more services and other free stuff with less and less work to obtain it. The governments are now realizing they are out of money. They can't print any more. It is gone. It isn't a matter of waiving some magic wand and turning a program back on ... they don't have the money to turn it back on. They have pissed it all away. Blown it ... spent "other people's money" until it is gone. The money isn't there. I hate to repeat that but some people seem to find the notion that a government can run out of money to be incomprehensible. If you constantly spend more than you take in, at some point there is no more to take in. Businesses move away. Hell, kids in France are going to the UK because wages are better and there are more jobs.
Seen any rioting in Sweden since they elected (twice) a center-right government that has scaled back the welfare state and told people they actually have to get off their asses and go to work? No, and it is working. Sweden's economy is growing for the first time in years. Why is Estonia's economy booming? Because they are responsible with the people's money and don't blow it all on bread and circuses. Why is Spain in trouble? They elected a far left government that immediately went to work emptying the treasury. They went from the best economy in Europe to one of the worst in the span of only one single parliament. Greece is a basket case. They have finally elected a center-right government but it might be too late to save them. They are too far gone. There is no way to pay back all that debt the socialists racked up. They are going to have to either have their debt forgiven, default on it, or have the taxpayers of other countries bail out their irresponsible past governments with cash injections from the IMF and EU.
Let them riot. And when all is said and done, they will STILL have to go to work. We are OUT OF MONEY for freeloaders. No more 30 hour work weeks, no more 8 weeks of vacation a year. No more retiring at 50. They will actually have to get a job. Then maybe companies will start moving back in there and hiring people. Who wants to hire practically the most unproductive people on the planet?
NOTE: this is not really political, it is mainly math. Socialism ALWAYS fails. It NEVER succeeds. Giving people the fruits of other people's labor always results in an overall reduction in the amount of fruit. You get more of what you subsidize and less of what you tax, that is a rule of economics that goes back centuries. When you tax success and subsidize failure, you end up with less success and more failure. It is just how it works and it has been proved time and time and time again.

This is a long article with a lot of cites that claims that Americans are being acclimated to having the military involved in their day-today life.

As a point of interest, there is a closed rest area on highway 5 near Avenal ca. It is at milepost 320. It has been refurbished as a huge inspection station. It is NOT an Ag station. It is not for truck inspection. I'll post the pics one day.

Re: New World Order Marchs On....
This is an interesting paper that compares the French revolution to the actions of Pol Pot.
"After the radical Jacobin (French proto-communists) leaders guillotined the monarchy and the moderates within the Revolutionary Convention, they seized power with a vengeance and immediately commenced the mass murder that today we call the Reign of Terror.
Firmly in control by the spring of 1793, they calmly and carefully discussed the proportion of the French population to be suppressed to make France a model (communist) republic.
Before the genocide began, the population of France was 25,000,000. In early 1793 Jean Bon St André openly stated in the Revolutionary Convention, "n order to establish the Republic securely in France, the population must be reduced by more than half."
More radical leaders made even more gruesome proposals. Maximilien Robespierre, the most aggressive annihilation advocate, blithely proposed that 23,000,000 be culled from the French census. "
In the end, they managed to kill 2 million before they got disgusted with Robespierre. Pol Pot totaled 10 million.
The records are still there today proving that illuminati bankers financed the revolution and Reign of Terror.

Poll: OK to trade some freedoms to fight terrorism
http://www.onenewsnow.com/Headlines/Def ... id=1426042
http://www.onenewsnow.com/Headlines/Def ... id=1426042
It goes on. Read it.WASHINGTON- Surveillance cameras in public places? Sure. Body scans at airports? Maybe. Snooping in personal email? Not so fast.
The same Americans who are increasingly splashing their personal lives across Facebook and Twitter trace a meandering path when asked where the government should draw the line between protecting civil liberties and pursuing terrorism.
Ten years after the 9/11 attacks led to amped-up government surveillance efforts, two-thirds of Americans say it's fitting to sacrifice some privacy and freedoms in the fight against terrorism, according to a poll by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.
A slim majority _ 54 percent _ say that if they had to choose between preserving their rights and freedoms and protecting people from terrorists, they'd come down on the side of civil liberties. The public is particularly protective of the privacy of U.S. citizens, voicing sharp opposition to government surveillance of Americans' emails and phone calls.
For some Americans, their reluctance to give up any freedoms is a reflection of their belief that the terrorists eventually will succeed no matter what.
"If somebody wants to do something, they'll find a way," says David Barker, a retired high school teacher from Wynne, Ark., who says he's not ready to sacrifice any freedoms in return for more security.
Others worry that giving up one freedom will lead to the loss of others.
"It's like opening a crack in the door, and then the door is opened wide," says Keri Jean, a homemaker from Elk Ridge, Utah.
The poll asked people to grapple with some of same quandaries that the government and the courts have been wrestling with over the past decade, and even before the 2001 terrorist attacks. And it turns out that policymakers, too, have drawn a zigzag line as they make tradeoffs between aggressively pursuing potential terrorists and preserving privacy and civil liberties.
