found out that Jiffy pop is not indefinitely shelf stable when I pulled a didn't know how old one out of the camping box for a Hey look what I brought surprise. Yeah, thank dog it smelled rancid, before it had to be tasted as such. dang.

Maybe with a solar oven....I've experimented with making popcorn with a big Fresnel from a projection TV to mixed results- Maybe it'd work better in the Black Rock Desert than at Lakes OF Fire in Michigan! Just doing it on a camp stove would be anticlimactic.

Not me, although we do bring the Jiffypop in a pan to heat over the burner. Stove burner, not a burner burner.

We bake cookies and biscuits and sweet rolls.

We always stop at the Wally World in Fernley where we have a room for the night before and after. Though the WW in Winnemucca is an option as well.

36 degree's, gray skies, winter storm warning for rain/sleet/snow from now till the morning commute.

Bumper car's on the Detroit freeway system is always enjoyable and in my case helps to provide job security.
