Wait a darn minute. Ratty's van will make it. How bout it iggy? Slow and steady in low gear? Can I crawl up the mountainside?

the only issue about "making it" (unless you are Doc), is the last 500 feet, it's steep gravel. many two wheel drives have made it, as long as you are familiar with rough country driving. I have driven vehicles up there for folks too. I just try to avoid a lot of wheel spinning, in that is tears up the road. But, worst case is we put a tow strap on and get you up that last pitch, or, park the vehicle at the bottom and shuttle your gear up in a truck.
It all works out fine. 2wd pickups have the hardest time being lightest in the back. A van may well do better.

How do you think an early 2000's Subaru Outback with not great suspension (rides low at the back) would do?

I don't drive it would be American Boyfriend doing that, just thought I should check though.

very deep lake, high elevation. Rainbow, German Brown and Brook trout. and Crawdads. some do very well there, some catch nothing. but if you want fishing stuff, I can bring you some. not sure about out of state license, if you so choose..........

also , parking is a premium near camp. I'd like to make sure any who need their vehicle close get that, and if some don't mind parking at the bottom of the hill and shuttling stuff up, or dropping stuff and parking down below, it'd probably be helpful.

OK, just bought my flights and a night at the Sands. I will be arriving at Reno on Thursday the 25th of June, early afternoon and following 420 up on Friday. I am always over-prepared, so bear with me, I am flying. I might need a thing or 2, should be able to buy some crap on the way up the hill. Cya there! Yay!

Well yeah. We all have 6 of everything just in case. If 10 people commit to bring you one thing each I bet you would get 9 things. (If you choose your people carefully.) Plus we would all have that missing item to give. Last year I brought an ice chest for someone on the bus. It was NO PROBLEM.

A lot of us have early entry so we can text you up until late Saturday early Sunday when the city fills up. I'm going to try and NOT be 'over preparation camp' this year. I need to fill my car with foam and fur bike seats. Not enough food and costumes for a month, spare parts for everything, seating for 12 etc...

wow........you guys. The grill/firepit Marty made for us is AWESOME!! we loaded it in my truck last night (had to use a small crane lift thing) I'll not post pics, it'll just have to be a surprise....but, SO COOL!! we'll have that, the smoker/BBQ and stoves for cooking......the pot luck will be epic, I'm sure!!

Can't wait to see everyone!!!
