Baby’s first burn! Coming in solo

Post by Brittlyn+ » Thu Aug 01, 2019 6:17 am

The playa has been calling me for years & finally I decided I’m tired of the, “next year” commitment from friends. So I’m headed in solo knowing one person at my camp. Already I feel creatively energized crafting zip tie crowns as gifts & sewing umbrella hats!

For me, this isn’t just a giant party but really a spiritual journey & challenge to check in with myself. I’ve been working a full-time corporate job + serving on weekends for over 3 years. I’m ready to burn out another way & hopefully get some clarity on putting my energy towards more creative projects.

I’ve camped by myself at festivals before but this is a whole new experience! I’m stupid excited to experience the playa :D

You know one person - yea! One person brought me.

Packing lists and talking with more new friends to prep, meeting face to face. Costumes? Yes. All the survival items to bring? We are counting on you, really!

In your regional and associated Facebook groups there is a lot of meeting up and even garage sales. Connect with them now and for after events and year around events.

First burn is special.

Hey there, welcome to ePlaya!
Elderberry

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Welcome! It is an exciting time! Enjoy your burn!
I would like to treat my gas pedal as a binary operator and get the cooperation of everyone in front of me!
