Post comment fails

Post by some seeing eye » Tue Feb 18, 2020 9:43 am

Twice in about the last two weeks, I have been logged in, composed a reply, then ePlaya errored out with a "you must be logged in to comment." Once I was able to browser back and the text was still there to copy and the other time it was gone.

I've experienced what you've described from time to time over the years SSE. I haven't quite nailed it down, but if I were to guess at this point, I think that perhaps my connection gets briefly interrupted, yet it appears that I remain logged in, or so it seems, until I'm ready to hit the 'Submit' button, and then eplaya gets a case of amnesia. I rarely recover my post at that juncture. As a result, I'll sometimes "copy to clipboard" while writing a long post. It certainly could be something else that causes the hiccup to occur though.
