After the temple burned I stepped off La Contessa and all I could see was your smile -- it was so genuine and familiar, I thought you knew me. We chatted about impermanance, you shared the warmth of your coat, and I melted into your side. And then, for some unknown reason, I became unusually shy and let you slip away without exchanging contact info. I would love to continue our conversation some day, if ever you find yourself in San Francisco.
