Holier than thou?

Post by Teke loni » Thu Apr 30, 2020 6:50 pm

I was just reading an old topic on this site where a young man was *openly* sharing his fears, insecurities, and anxieties about his *monogamous* partner cheating on him at Burning Man while he’s at home.

At least 90% of the responses were judge mental as fuck. Many told him they need to go to relationship counseling. I’m sorry, where the fuck is your LMFT license you entitled cuntbag? Even if you had one, who the fuck is anyone but two monogamous partners to tell them how to function in their own relationship? God, some of *you people* (“burners” - barf) make me want to eat my own vomit just so I could throw it back up again.

Some decimated his character, as if they know the first thing about anything at all. Please. So many people are afraid to admit that they’re addicted to “the burn” because it’s the only place they can go to be hedonistic as fuck without being judged for it. It IS about sex and drugs (art and engineering is in there too, but let’s be fucking real here; nobody would get that defensive about someone innocently asking if it’s only about sex and drugs if it weren’t), and people DO cheat, and this is a valid fucking fear.

Isn’t Burning Man supposed to be a safe place for freedom of expression? Aren’t *you people* supposed to be accepting and accommodating, not total arrogant pricks? Just because you melt on tons of acid and DMT once per year doesn’t mean you know shit. Fuck outta here with your spiritual bypassing and holier than thou attitudes. It makes you look ignorant.

P.S. Freedom of expression as so many of you see it, such as buying single use plastics and burning a bunch of shit (including fuel) for a week in the desert for example, is still harmful to the environment and you all suck fat cock for being frivolous, self-absorbed, and hedonistic as fuck. “Spiritual” my ass.

Hello Ione,

Looking forward to your insights participating on ePlaya!

Eplaya runs from welcoming to critical. We are more welcoming than the FB and have more useful information than Reddit.

Our objective is survival and participation for questioning burners. Most of us have many, many burns and burn errors.

I would not say the Gerlach regional is intended to be guaranteed by ePlaya to be safe physically, psychologically, or for relationships.

Most of us know many, many, many relationships created and destroyed at BRC. Those have been their emotional and psychic greatest peaks and greatest depths.

Generally I have found the Reddit is for (unrealistically) stroking potential virgins.

If you want to cite a thread, we can critique it.

Really, contribute, rather than send a one time poop like:

Check it out, I’m not speaking with any style prescribed by a particular social media platform. These are words from my cranium, regardless of the media I use to express them. There you go, thinking you’re better than Facebook and reddit because you’re on “eplaya.”

Totally ignorant to your own arrogance.

Troll confirmed.

Eplaya crunches trolls and spits them out. Trolls are not even a meal for us.

We crunch trolls to keep the platform nutritious and healthy for real current and future burners.

How about a link to the old topic? I've watched all the reruns of reruns that I can stand and could use the entertainment.

Once left unchecked, the asshole, in all of us, is free to roam and destroy. It is only through sheer willpower many keep it in check.

Dogs are the leaders of the planet. If you see two life forms, one of them’s making a poop, the other one’s carrying it for him, who would you assume is in charge?
