Some time ago we built a hexayurt based on the 6' Stretch Hexayurt layout, but with a little twist to its design - and without using any more building material - that will get you a full-size entrance and even more headroom inside: The 6´ Stretch Apex Hexayurt.
For me this is the perfect option for a Playa home for two, as it still requires only a reasonable amount of material and transport space, but fits a queen size bed, leaves space for other things, is easy to enter, and allows you to stand upright on the inside.
As I have not seen this design somewhere else yet, be it in BRC or on the web, I put together some building instructions and wanted to share it with the community, maybe someone else wants to give it a try as well:
