Looking for Experienced Driver to Pull Trailer to BRC from L.A. and Back: For WAP, Fuel and Ticket.

Our camp is seeking a responsible, experienced driver with a truck that can haul a trailer with part of our camp’s critical infrastructure.

We have a dual-axle, enclosed 26-foot trailer that will weigh roughly 2.5 tons fully loaded. Looking for someone with their own heavy-duty pickup truck in excellent running condition and ready to make a 400-mile trip from Antelope Valley, Ca., and back.

We are departing our base camp in Antelope Valley on 8/24 at 4am and will drive straight to Black Rock City, with stops for fuel and water.

We plan to leave playa on Monday, September 5th. Most of our camp will stay overnight one or two nights at the Peppermill in Reno; you may choose to go straight back or not.

We want someone who has a current driver’s license, insurance and a clean driving record and has experience pulling large cargo trailers. We require that you are well rested and ready to drive at the start of the trip, and are equally prepared to depart.

We will provide:
1 Work Access Pass for 8/24 arrival
1 Vehicle Pass
1 Burning Man Ticket
1 Reimbursement for all fuel used during the tow.

You are welcome to camp with us. We can provide shade for a tent situation and a few other amenities. You are free to camp with another group or open camping as well.

Playa Penthouse is camping at 7:30 Portal and A street. A really great spot right near the Esplanade. We have a three-story tower from which you may watch many of the big burns, or just chill out and view the city. We have several big party nights with DJs and full lighting and flame effects. We’re a fun camp, and this request will be our final camper spot available.
