I am searching for a Bakfiets (cargo bike) to borrow or rent, possibly purchase. It doesn't need to be pretty, just functional (ideally in Reno but could also collect in SF). Our original plan has just fallen through.
My daughter(5) has significant mobility issues related to a rare genetic disorder. She loves huge sculptures, so we are bringing her to Burning Man.
The major complication is that we are coming from Australia and won't have our cargo bike to move her around. I am struggling to find something similar to rent in Reno.
I know it is a long shot, but if you have any contacts who might be willing to lend or rent such a bike, it will help immensely.

I'm sorry I can't help you other than to suggest you not limit yourself to a cargo bike. A Rhodes Car might work or a tricycle.

Rickshaw, pedicab, hacked kayak trailer, game hauler with a chair, 2 seater trike or two bike tandem conversion with a wide seat … a big wagon? Bike trailer? Bakfeit is a pretty specific bike style not very common in Reno. SF would be better for shops devoted to them… Dutch bikes. Playa art tours on mutant vehicles have been available in the past, I would check the www guide and ask at the artery first thing in the week. In addition to mobility camp, You could also try getting in contact with playa bike repair https://playabikerepair.com/ or black rock cycles https://www.blackrockbicycles.com/Default.asp and see if they have or are are bringing anything special along those lines you might rent. Good luck to you.

Thanks for the suggestions, we had pursued all those avenues initially. Everything was organised until yesterday when the plan fell over so back to the drawing board.
