Hello Burners

Post by Arubagal » Fri Apr 21, 2023 2:18 pm

Don & Laurie here first time burgins from Aruba/Rhode island, we were lucky enough to grab main sale tickets after trying to buy tickets for five years its finally happening! As newbies we are in the research phase. We know that we would like to join a theme camp to contribute to a camp as well as volunteering on playa. Don is a heavy equipment operator and all around get it done landscape contractor, I am a professional photographer 14 years/prior career mechanical design engineer heating air conditioning for commercial buildings. We just completed building the first eco friendly shipping container vacation resort in Aruba. We are 47 and 54 years old, We love to travel have attended multiple fantasy fests in Key West and Envision in Costa Rica. We both drink socially are non smokers that love art. Can't wait to explore the theme camp options and just really..really excited to join all you burners this year

Hey there, welcome to ePlaya!
Elderberry

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

If you are a professional engineer ie can stamp drawings you might want to say that as well. Ditto if you have a CDL, there are several camps looking for those skills.
Everyone is so politically fucked up that they're segregating themselves in the name of equal rights and liberation.

Hi Laurie and Don,

Me and my partner Eamon are also first time burners from Ireland! We have been together for 21 years and currently planning our wedding at this year's Burning Man... I seen in your post you say you are a professional photographer and was wondering if you would be interested in taking some photos of us on the day!! No pressure!!
