'Borrowed'? Yellow Fur Covered Playa Cruiser

Post by kiki » Fri Sep 23, 2005 4:18 pm

My Playa cruiser was 'borrowed' during the Black Rock Hoedown at the Flaming Lotus Girls Angel of the Apocalypse (while I was shakin' ass to those skilled DJs on the UniMog).

It's a girl's cruiser, pretty ancient. Black seat with broken springs, covered in yellow fur. It had a bright orange plastic luggage tag with my Playa address and SF address listed attached to the right side handlebar.

Please let me know if you adopted it temporarily and would like to return it to me... I borrowed it from my best friend and I would like to get it back to her!

thanks!

Hi,
Thats great you found who borrowed your bike..
I also accidentily borrowed a Pink cruiser and couldn't seem to return Pinkie to her proper owner in time. I believe anything misplaced at burning man fell into the hands of someone who really wanted whatever it was they decided to borrow, weither it were borrowed with the intent of never returning it or an honest mistake. as in my case but it was more of a temporary trade
The overall generosity of most people made up for all that was lost....
