Hello to all you creative people,
I am currently working on the design of a leather organizer using all sustainable materials (recycled leather and paper etc.) and am looking for someone who can help me sew the prototype. I am a supporter of Sustainable Style and want to create a line where every step in the process of production/design has been carefully thought out to benefit/help/protect all involved.
I am looking for someone who has experience in leatherwork/sewing leather./pattternmaking etc.
If you know someone please refer them to my post and send an email.
thanks so much!

Carmit, I had a leather shop in the early seventies, made some belts, sandals, handbags, hats, and trinkets. That was the bread & butter line. My specialty was one-off custom garments using innovative seam construction that included riveting, decorative functional lacing, and even weaving the seams so that the garments would be size-adjustable. Do you want to go into full production with heavy sewing machines, or do you want to do limited production with hand work? I appreciate your approach in using sustainable recycled material. After all, leather is ultimately recycled skin. It's that realization (added to a revelation while standing in front of a butcher shop) that made me become a vegetarian and give up a lucrative business recycling animals. I think I've overcome that attitude, and have considered getting back into leatherwork. At least I wouldn't be acting as a dust filter, collecting the toxins that exist in some plant species, as I did for 25 years as a fine woodworker. I'd be glad to help out with the prototype.
Infinity = 1; since 1 / infinity = 1, zero is an absolute impossibility. The reason triangles are so unlike other polygons is that a triangle is part of a polygon bridging two dimensions.
