Is it relatively easy to attach a small cymbal to a snare?

Want to bring a snare drum with a small cymbal attached next year. I see snare drums for sale and cymbals for sale, but, not sure how easy it would be to attach a cymbal to the body of the snare. This should be pretty easy, right?
It's what you make it.

Check this out. You would need a reasonably hefty drum to attach it to. If you are playing this on a stand there might be a problem as most snare stands have a fairly small base area and the weigh of clamp and cymbal might unbalance it.

This is for a snare on a strap. I'll be mobile. :D I'm talking a really small cymbal. Looks like this would work. Thanks!
